A New Year

Hope everyone had a great holiday. We had a great time staying home. We had two big snow storms hit the week before the girls' Christmas break. We ended up with at least a foot of snow in a two day period. I know that doesn't like a lot for others but for here it was a great big mess. They had even closed the military bases. Luckily we didn't have any where to go and the kids had a ball sledding down the driveway. We all seemed to have gotten our Christmas wishes this year. Santa had brought Sam her giant teddy bear (it's almost as big as she is) and Ashley her bratz doll. Alex's parents had gotten the girls a Wii and games to go with it. I got my wish for a white Christmas for the girls. They have never had one and it was great to see snow Christmas morning. Then after that it could go away. We really didn't do much for New Year's Eve. We all went to bed early that night. I was pretty much sick all that week.

The girls and I went back to school today. They also started basketball this month. The first game is in a couple of weeks. I know that they are going to be having a great time with that. I on the other hand am going to be busy, busy, busy. I have a full load this quarter with classes plus I am interning in both girl's classrooms everyday. I just hope that I won't go to crazy trying to keep up with everything and everyone. I am just glad that I have a really great husband at home to help me out.
